Sea shell fish wall hanging

Last summer we went to Florida and came home with a box full of shells! I've been trying to figure out ways to use those shells and here's one of the projects I've created:

I used an old fence panel and cut it to size. Then I sanded it lightly...

and painted it with varying shades of blue...

I painted on some sea weed and used a hot glue gun to glue the fish on with their googly eyes...

Then I arranged and hot glued shells all along the bottom with varying shapes/sizes.

I used my hot glue gun to add drops of glue for bubbles floating up from each fish. It doesn't take much and if you pull away gradually it should form into a beautiful bubble.

I drilled two holes in the top corners and tied rope across to hang it from and voila!

Thank you for the inspiration! I'll be linking up to Happiness is Homemade link party.
