Saved By Grace Review

Many thanks to Pure Flix for providing a sample of the product for this review. Opinions are 100% my own.

Did you ever watch the show "Touched by an Angel"? It ran in the 90's and starred Roma Downey. I used to watch it growing up. I loved Roma's accent, and the uplifting stories she told. When I watched the first two episodes of Pure Flix's show "Saved by Grace", it reminded me so much of "Touched by an Angel". It shared the theme of uplifting stories and happy endings.

"Saved by Grace" also reminded me of the Christmas movie "It's a Wonderful Life" where an angel comes and helps George Bailey realize how good his life truly is. In "Saved by Grace", two angels step in to help answer prayers and change lives for the better. I enjoyed seeing the various ways these angels interceded.

The actress who plays Grace said of the show "All the situations highlight current problems, but at the core, they are heart issues we've been dealing with since the fall, and I hope viewers realize they aren't alone in those struggles.”

Grace is probably my favorite of the characters. She has an awkward way about her, as if she's not quite sure how mortal humans actually behave. As an angel, she seems a little aloof and goofy but is still able to get the job done and help those she was sent to help.

I love that the episodes are just over 30 minutes. It's the perfect length to turn on while folding a load of laundry or just sitting down to rest. It's a clean show that all ages can enjoy.

Let me know what you think if you watch it!
