Butterfly Cake

My sweet little girl turned one recently. I feel like I have whiplash from how fast this year went by! When I was pregnant with her, I decided to decorate her room with butterflies, so of course, it made perfect sense for her first cake to be a butterfly!

I used gum drops which I flattened with a glass cup, and Spree candy for the decorations. This was such an easy cake to put together! It only took one 9 inch cake, and one can of frosting.

  5. That is one of the cutest cakes that I've ever seen. I agree......time flies with children growing up.

  6. Did you put the cake in the fridge after so it was easier to cut?

  7. My goodness this is AMAZING!! Do you mind telling what type of cake is that? Is it a sponge cake or a vanilla cake or?
