Hickory Farms Review

My husband is a meat and cheese kind of man…I personally can’t stand cheese plain and don’t like a lot of meats…but my husband! He is the reason I was thrilled to have the chance to review a Hickory Farms gift box. It arrived the day after his birthday and he was actually surprised! This is quite the feat in gift-giving whenever he is involved…just ask him about the year he picked up his wrapped gift under the tree and exclaimed “it’s a drill”.

Because of my husband’s love of fine meats and cheese I knew he would appreciate this box and he did. Dare I say he was thrilled to open the box to find the following:

As I grow older I realize more and more that tangible gifts that last forever are not essential or ideal for some people…the thought truly counts. Still, gift shopping stresses me out more often than not because I want to be sure that the gift will be appreciated, and that our money won’t be wasted! If your loved one, or a coworker, or friend appreciates quality foods such as the products found at Hickory Farms, then why not give them a gift they can not only enjoy, but won’t take up extra room on their mantle?

This holiday season, Hickory Farms will donate $5 from each Party Planner gift box sold to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign, which is a national nonprofit that is striving to end childhood hunger in the US. Also, Hickory Farms provides free shipping on select products to APO/FPO military addresses so that you can give those you love a little taste of home while they are serving our country.

Disclosure: I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Hickory Farms and received a product sample to facilitate my review.

  2. We have a big ole Hickory Farms kiosk in the middle of our mall every year at Christmas. It really is a great and easy gift for a foodie. I love their summer sausage!

I wish I didn't like cheese. I would be quite a bit thinner, lol!
