Hormel® Compleats® Review

Recently, SheSpeaks was kind enough to send me Hormel® Compleats® Kids Microwave Meals in 4 different flavors:

  • Spaghetti and Meatballs
  • Pasta and Chicken
  • Beef Ravioli
  • Macaroni and Beef

When I opened this box, I was very excited because all I had to do to prepare each of the meals was remove the packaging, poke a few holes in the plastic cover and microwave for 45 seconds. My boys love almost any pasta dish I make which just made this kit more exciting!

Out of the 4 flavors, the only one my boys seemed to enjoy was Macaroni and Beef. C ate about half of it before declaring he was all done. K did eat most of the Beef Ravioli but did not appear to be too impressed.

The other two flavors were completely rejected by my boys after a few bites which is why I don’t feel these meals are worth the investment for my home.

However, I’ve read several reviews of other children who loved these meals and devour them. Because of the simplicity in preparation and clean-up of these meals, if you can find a good deal, it might be worth it to try these with your children.

In the spirit of full disclosure, Hormel Foods provided samples of Hormel® Compleats® Kids Microwave Meals for me and my family to try. No payment was given and as always, all opinions given here are fully my own.
