"The Homeschool Awakening" +$10 Amazon giftcode giveaway! (Ends 6/20/22)

Many thanks to TBN & CamFam Studios for providing a sample of the product for this review.  Opinions are 100% my own.

Have you ever considered homeschooling your kids? Did Covid affect the way you see education for your family? When our schools went to distance learning in spring of 2020, we first experienced having to educate our kids at home, but I quickly realized that was not homeschooling. Many of my friends were complaining about homeschooling their kids on social media, but I learned that actually homeschooling is a completely different experience. With distance learning we had no say in what our kids were learning, what curriculum was used, and what schedule they had. It was incredibly frustrating for me as a mom and was the first time I had seriously considered looking into homeschooling.

Enjoy Easter with Pure Flix! Giveaway ending 4/7/22

Many thanks to Pure Flix for providing a sample of the product for this review. Opinions are 100% my own.

In our home, we try to make Sundays different from every other day. We try to keep it holy by using the day to focus on our faith and our family. One of the ways we do this is by avoiding shows that we would watch the rest of the week. We definitely aren't perfect at this, but it's an ongoing effort that our family makes. While there are many streaming services that our family enjoys, Pure Flix is one that makes this decision easier.

"Indivisible" coming to theaters October 26

Disclosure: I was given the chance to see an advanced screening, and received ticket codes for a giveaway. All opinions expressed are my own.

"Indivisible" in theaters October 26 #giveawayThere's such a variety of movies available in theaters right now...something for everyone I suppose. If you are looking for a wholesome, clean, moving movie, I highly recommend going to see Indivisible.

This film, starring Sarah Drew, Justin Bruening, Jason George, Tia Mowry, and Madeline Carroll, addresses some hard issues that many military families struggle with. For those of us who aren't military families, it's hard to imagine what these individuals deal with during, and after deployments. I truly appreciate the honesty and openness of this film.

Indivisible is based on the true story of
Army Chaplain Darren Turner and his wife Heather. During the film, we see how Darren and Heather use their talents to bless others, but then struggle in their own marriage.

This is a movie of faith, endurance, and love. If you would like to win tickets to see this movie in theaters, please watch the trailer linked here and enter the Rafflecopter giveaway below.

Help Little Ones Feel Better with ClearPop (Giveaway! Ends 4/10/17)

Growing up I was one of those kids who had regular ear infections. I think I had at least one each winter and it was debilitating! One year I slept through my brother's birthday party due to an ear infection. When my family went to Australia, I spent a good portion of the trip in pain from an ear infection. Apparently I never really outgrew them, because I even had one two years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter! Needless to say, I am well aware of the pain, discomfort and overall misery that ear infections inflict on kids.

Thankfully, my kids have never been prone to ear infections...they've had maybe one or two in my 10 years of parenting. But, if they ever do have one (or if I have another!), I know exactly what I will be reaching for to ease their pain...ClearPop! I can't even express how much I wish these had been around when I was little.

"Where Jesus Slept" review & giveaway (ends 11/21/16)

"Where Jesus Slept" review and giveaway (ends 11/21/16)
I know, I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet, but I wanted to share this cute book with you so whoever wins the giveaway can get their book in time for their little ones to enjoy during the Christmas season. "Where Jesus Slept" by Norma Lewis, and illustrated by Katy Hudson is a fun little book with a cadence that reminds me of the book "This is the House that Jack Built" where each page builds on the previous one.

"The Book of Heroes", "The Book of Heroines" review & giveaway (ends 11/9/16)

National Geographic books of heroes and heroinesMy 9 year old is an avid book reader. He will often finish books from the library within a day or two and seems to just consume them. When "The Book of Heroes" and "The Book of Heroines" showed up at our door, I knew he would love them! I showed them to him when he got home from school and I don't think he set those books down for the rest of the day.

He took them to his brother's soccer game that night, and to school the next morning. Suddenly I was hearing random facts about amazing people while he read through the books. Basically, they were a hit here! I got to explain to my son what a heroine is, and it gave him the opportunity to realize that heroes and heroines can be anyone, from a kid, to a dog, to a woman or man. These aren't people with super powers, just people who did amazing things.

Baby, Baby! review & giveaway (ends 9/29/16)
My 2 year old LOVES books! She can sit and look at books for ages every day, so I was excited for the chance to get a new book for her to read and add to our collection. As soon as Baby, Baby! arrived, she insisted on reading it.

We read it again today repeatedly, and though she's not a baby anymore, she is certainly fascinated by them. She loved pointing out all the objects in the book and had fun with the mirror at the end. I like that the end of the book is a reminder of God's love for everyone, especially our children.

Dial Kids Foaming Hand Wash giveaway (ends 5/1/15)
As many of you know, I have 2 boys. They are now 6 & 8 and I still struggle with getting them to wash their hands! It must be a boy thing...this need to be constantly dirty. When I tell them to wash their hands, I remind them to say their "ABC's" and to get bubbles all over their hands. I was excited to try the new Dial Kids Foaming Hand Wash because anything that can make handwashing more fun - and thus more likely to happen - is a winner in my book! My 6 year old is the one I struggle with the most and when he got home from school and tried this soap for the first time, he was very excited.

Dial Sugar Cane Husk Scrub Review & Giveaway (Ends 4/6/15)

Disclosure: The Dial brand provided me with a sample of Dial Sugar Cane Husk Scrub Hand Soap for this review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Dial Sugar Cane Husk Scrub giveaway (ends 4/6/15)
Until recently, I would buy large bottles of liquid hand soap and refill the soap dispensers we already had. For us, that was a way to be frugal, and it worked. Then I tried Dial soaps with scrubs in them, and I am hooked! The new Dial Sugar Cane Husk Scrub hand soap, from their Boutique Collection, is no exception. Using this soap feels extravagant without spending a ton of money. The Micro-scrubbers exfoliate my skin, but doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or raw.
