Toddler Play: Fine Motor Skills

Here's a fun game for toddler's to play, and all you need are drinking straws and an empty box!
Toddler Play: Fine Motor Skills

Close the box using the flaps, and poke holes with scissors throughout one side of the box.

Cut the straws so that they are shorter than the box is wide.

Set the box and straws on the floor and show your toddler how to put the straws in the holes.

When the straws are all in the box, open the flaps, dump it out and start again. It's so funny to watch little ones use their developing skills to accomplish tasks like this and improve over time.

This entertained my daughter for half an hour straight and I kept it on my fridge to pull down when I needed some entertainment for her so I could get dinner made. Thank you Simply Learning for the great idea!
