VeggieTales The Little House That Stood Review & Giveaway (Ends 3/18/13)

I was first introduced to VeggieTales in High School when I was babysitting a little boy who had several movies. I fell in love and have loved VeggieTales ever since. Their humor and clever stories make me laugh out loud. I love that my kids can learn more about the Bible and learn important life lessons through fun stories and feel good about letting my boys watch these movies.

The Little House That Stood is no exception! We have been trying to teach our boys the importance of Keeping the Sabbath Day Holy, by not working, or watching movies that distract from what we have learned at church, or from the peaceful atmosphere we are trying to create in our home. So, I put this movie on for my boys on a Sunday, since it’s a Bible lesson. After it was done, I asked my 5 year old what he thought and he started lecturing me about how it wasn’t good for Sunday since they work in the movie, building houses.

But, when we watched it again later that week, my boys were both enthralled. I knew the construction aspect of building houses would be a big hit, and it was. Both of my boys really enjoyed the video and it was fun to glance over to see them laughing at various points of the movie. In case you can’t tell, I love VeggieTales, and this movie was no exception. Now for the best part…I get to give a copy away to one of you! Follow the Rafflecopter form below…

a Rafflecopter giveaway Disclosure: I was provided a copy of this movie for my review. All opinions expressed are my own.
