If you have little kids you probably have a baby gate lying around some where whether you currently need it or not…make some use of it and make a tent with your kids!
All you have to do is lay the gate horizontally across your hallway just high enough to make a tent. Drape a blanket or sheet over the gate and you have a tent :)

I'm trying to remember where I put those gates. My kids make tents all the time and I never thought of this.
