Tabasco Original Red Sauce

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TABASCO® Original Red. All opinions are 100% mine.

At one point in my childhood, my parents had reached their wits end with my siblings and myself. They didn't know how else to punish us when we did something wrong because my brothers would either not care or outsmart the punishment. Eventually they came up with the punishment of getting Tabasco on our tongues for lying. To this day, I remember how strong the flavor was and it did have an effect on me. I personally do not cook anything with Tabasco.

On the other hand, our friend spent a lot of his childhood at our house because his single mother was going through school. He, too, was given Tabasco on his tongue but loved the flavor so much, that eventually he started getting Tabasco on his lips. Even then, he loved it so much his mother gave up and had to find different disciplinary options.

TABASCO® Original Red, which was such a big part of my childhood, has been around since 1868 when it was introduced to the world by the McIlhenny family. This sauce is aged for 3 years and is used by Tabasco lovers to bring out the intense flavor of food through heat. It doesn't just make food hot, it enhances the flavor or your food.

Being from New Mexico, I have eaten many hot dishes, and agree that Tabasco can bring out flavor in anything it's in. During football season, some may find that Tabasco sauce is perfect on their party pizzas, or even in eggs or Mac & Cheese.

If you are looking for a way to bring out the best in your food through Tabasco, check out the Game-Day Party Menu for some easy ideas and recipes. You can also check out the Pizza Perfected page. Tabasco is "so much more than hot." It can unlock and enhance the flavor of your food so you can get the best of every bite.
