Earrings from a Milk Jug

When I saw these earrings pinned from this shop, I knew I wanted some. When I realized they were made from milk jugs, I knew I could make my own!Earrings from a milk jug
All you need to do is cut a square panel from the side of a milk jug.

Cut six narrow strips from that square. Two strips need to be longer, two a little shorter and the other two even shorter…like the picture below. Sorry I don’t have measurements, but I just eye-balled it.
P1050559 Use scissors to round off the corners so it looks nicer. Use a small hole punch to punch holes in each end of your strips.P1050560
Take one strip of each length and thread one end onto an earring jump ring. Then, making sure the shortest is on the inside, thread the other end on so each strip makes a loop.Milk Jug Earrings Close the jump ring and attach to an earring hook.

  3. I probably couldn't get my wife to wear these, but my little girl would have fun making them.
