Fork Bracelet

I am officially on Pinterest and while there fell in love with the bracelets I found here. Who knew forks could look so pretty?!

Anyhow, I wanted one of my own and decided to try making a fork bracelet…turns out it’s not terribly hard, though I admit I am lacking in all of the tools that could make my bracelet as pretty as the one that inspired it. P1020845

I took a regular fork (that obviously wouldn’t be too hard to bend), and used a hammer and pliers to pound the fork around a sturdy metal pole. This allowed the fork to be bent smoothly without as many kinks.P1020846

Once most of the fork was bent to the shape and size I wanted I bent the tines into the shape I wanted with my pliers and voila! All I had to do was use a dremmel tool to polish off the rough edges from the pliers and I had my own custom made bracelet made from, of all things, a fork.P1020842
