Have you ever had a humiliating hiccup attack…like when you’re trying to talk to someone important and *hic!* *hic!* *hic!*? The trick to get rid of them is to hold your breath, count to 10 and swallow twice before breathing again. The tricky part is swallowing twice but it works for me and it’s what I tell poor souls in the middle of a hiccup attack. I swear by it!
