We love boxes around here! They have so much potential! After making a car, K and I decided it would be fun to make a zoo.K has an abundance of animals, and loves talking about going to the zoo so when I suggested making a zoo to him, I knew I had no other choice because he was so excited.
I used swagbucks to search for animal pictures which I printed, and K colored. Just imagine the pig is a wild African boar :)
I cut the top flaps off of the box and cut notches into each piece as shown below.
I then pieced them together and fit them inside the box. K helped glue and place the pictures of each animal in the cage he thought they should go in. 
After each animal was placed, we talked about what all the animals eat.The only problem was when C tried to help relocate any animals, K got extremely protective of his zoo. BUT it was fun, free, and K loved it!
Oh this is so fun! I want to do this too! You could cut out foods they eat and glue them to the box as well.
